Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress and has gained fame in Canada for her role in the film Bo. Silk was created in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay and Peter Silk were both professors. Ilkay was also a writer, producer, and director. Silk is the Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is a bit of a child with earliest memories of watching television and going to rehearsals for plays. Silk appeared as a little model in a commercial. She earned a Bachelors in Arts from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least two early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto Canada in the month of November of 1999, to keep acting. Then she moved in Los Angeles California during the next decade. Seth Cooperman met Silk at the Actors Workshop located in Los Angeles, in 2007. They were engaged the year 2009 and wed in a civil ceremony in December of the same year. The couple renewed their vows the 10th of April in Fredericton with the tradition of a Jewish wedding ceremony after Silk changed her religion to Judaism. Silk had a son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Her son Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk's television work has included her part in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland in which she was awarded a Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009 Silk was a part of Bo Dennis, the lead role of Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk fell pregnant during the final production of the season 3 finale and announced this to the viewers during Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th that the show would return to its production. The fourth season began on June 4, 2013 with Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN Cable News Network named Bo together with Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couple with the same name on Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples of all time. E! Magazine declared them Top Television Couples in 2013 Entertainment Television. Due to the popularity of the show, Silk has earned a significant internet following via social media.
